At Cold Ready Shop, we stand behind our cold-weather gear and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy with your jackets, accessories, or kids’ winter wear, we’re here to help with our straightforward returns process.

Our Return Policy

You may return most unused items in their original condition within 15 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Please note:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags attached
  • Returns must include the original packaging and any accessories
  • We cannot accept returns on final sale items or personalized products
Non-Returnable Items: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on balaclavas, ear bands, gloves, and mitts unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to process your return:

  1. Contact our team: Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with your request. Use our template below to ensure we have all necessary information.
  2. Wait for approval: We’ll respond within 1-2 business days with return instructions and your Return Authorization Number (RAN).
  3. Package your items: Securely pack the items in their original packaging with all tags still attached.
  4. Ship your return: Send the package to our Philadelphia facility using a trackable shipping method. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days
  • Your refund will be credited to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your bank’s processing time

Note: Shipping charges are non-refundable. For exchanges, we’ll cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to you.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your winter gear arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a free return and expedite your replacement.

International Returns

For our customers outside the United States (excluding some Asian and remote regions):

  • You are responsible for any customs fees or duties associated with returning items
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing insurance for valuable items
  • Refunds will be issued in USD and may be subject to currency fluctuations
